This work aims to utilize oxygen and hydrogen stable isotopes as tracers for determining the groundwater sources of recharge in central Nile delta. The analyzed water samples were collected from canals drains surface water, soil shallow, intermediate deep zones groundwater. isotopic data indicated that have higher content than recent river (? 18O = 2.39‰ ?2H 22‰) which reflect influence an evaporation process takes place bodies during its flow. Soil affected by infiltration via soil. It was estimated enrichment contents less water. Studied is composed mixed source recharged before after High Dam construction. Few depleted suggested a mixing between rainwater River shallow deviation away global meteoric line. In groundwater, more line noticed reflects effect freshwater seawater. average showed indicating both seawater intrusion.
